President Opening Comments: Glad to be in the new place.
Agency Comments:
Approval of the prior minutes: Troy motioned to accept the minutes as presented, Liliette 2nd,
Stacey abstained, motion passes.
Treasurer’s Report:Stacey motioned to accept the report as presented, John 2nd, motion passes.
Committee Updates:
Mayor’s Race- Cathy- Kick off July 1st, start accepting applicants May 1st. Fee to enter is $100

Community Champion- Tonia
Light Contest/Parade- Troy
Scholarship- Dan
Mixers- Stacey- April 10th, at American Legion 6:30 pm, California (UN) Incorp Asking for
Budget of $100
Information Only Event Chamber is not ENDORSING, just giving the community
information.Dan motioned $100 for event cost ,Troy 2nd, motion passes.
Community Membership/Involvement- LeeAnn
County Liaison- Anthony, Rosario is looking through Downtown Rio Linda Planning Ordinance.
Business Watch- Stacey. 10 am at Rio Java.
Old Business
- Business License- License was paid and is now in good standing.
- Teen Council- Revisit in April.
- Rio Linda Online Advertisement- Dan motioned $25 per mixer or specified event, Stacey
2nd, motion passes.
New Business - Podcast- Tonia will head, possibly John Todd with her.
2.Renewals- Dan motioned $96.52 for stamps and envelopes.Cathy 2nd, motion passes.
Directors’ comments: Liliette-Pittador won Calling all Dreamers, getting $20,000
to open a downtown location. Hoping to open in June. Celebration on March 23rd,
at Rio Java 4pm-6pm. Dan- charity events in Rio Linda on the back of his
newsletter.
Troy- Parks & Rec activity guide is out. Community meeting on the 13th at 6pm.
Stacey- judged Little League Parade , was a blast, Pirate Float on the Pat and Tom
show. Twin Rivers RLHS stadium is Marion Adams Stadium, and the field will be
called Micheal Morris Field. John- Was honored to be part of a group to name the
field, joined CPAC committee. Did some updating on the website.
Public comments: Katherine (American Legion)- Bunco and crab feed on April
5th. April 13th easter egg hunt. Monday the 17th Legions Birthday doing corned
beef and cabbage at 2pm. Sheena- if you need your windows and gutter cleaned
call Golden Rays. Susan Sheets (The Grotto)- music at The Grotto has been great,
March 26th, and April 23rd Shane Q will be performing, working on a brunch
menu. Meg ( Meg’s Creamery)- Dirty Leprechaun Milkshake back. Bodee Boxing
Grand opening April 12th.
