President Opening Comments: Liliette is absent, Cathy will reach out to address. Thank you to everyone who came to the Mayor’s Dinner. Candidates possibly talk at the next dinner about where the funds went, and all the amazing things accomplished.

Treasurer’s Report: Troy motioned to accept. Katherine 2nd. Motion carries.
Committee Updates:
Mayor’s Race- Tonia is officially the Honorary Mayor for 2025.
Mayor’s Dinner- 75 guests in attendance. Great feedback. Katherine mentioned someone asked about a chicken option.
Community Champion- Tommy Hall winner of Community Champion. Fewer nominations this year. The new committee will talk of ways to address the lack of participation.
Light Contest/Parade- Link is on the website.
Scholarship-Plan is to start planning in January.
Mixers- Bingo went well. Tummy’s mixer was not attended well.
Community Membership/Involvement- No update.
County- John is talking with Rosario about noise ordinance.
Grant Committee- no update.
Old Business
1.Passports (Tonia)- Amy’s signed up today.
2.Director positions- The committee brought three names. Jessica Thornhill, Amanda Ridgeway, and Dan Welch. All three accepted. Susan Sheets was nominated by Katherine, she declined. The three nominees will be seated at the December meeting.
3.Fundraising- Dan- Pizza Challenge Tasting. LeeAnn, Jessica & Amanda joined committee to help facilitate. Back in December with plan.
4. Venmo update- Chamber can not get a venmo. Because of the type of 501C and no actual phone.
5. Ornament Exchange-4:00 on December 7th. Dan motioned $209.18 for a meat and cheese tray & a Pumpkin Pie from Costco. Tonia 2nd. Motion passes.
6. Chamber Signs- Quote came in signs now $117.47, way under the budget the Chamber previously approved. Tonia will take care of it.
New Business
- Christmas Parade Entry-Tonia motioned $50 for entry if the Chamber can find someone to join. John 2nd. Motion passes.
Director Comments: Tonia received a call from Matt Hedges about a grant and reached out to the charities that are eligible. John Todd billed the Chamber $125, the chamber only budgeted to pay $75.. Katherine motioned $50 to pay for pamphlets, Anthony 2nd. John abstained.Motion passes. Anthony- no business watch, postponed until next week. Troy- Christmas parade seeking donation for porta potty cost-Tonia motioned $800 for potties, Anthony 2nd. Motion passes. If we can get business to cover great, if not the Chamber will cover it. Forrest and Troy spoke about grants. If you need Christmas Lights or solar cleaning, call Troy. Katherine, turkey dinner tomorrow for Veterans and community. Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving day. Santa Breakfast on the 14th. Fish Fry Nov 15th. Starts at 2pm. John sent an invoice for the website handler.
Public comments: Susan Sheets put together an advent basket to support Sisters in Christ and the Food Bank.. Selling raffle tickets for $25 each and seeking donations from local businesses.. Meg- paint night at Megs on the 22nd at 2pm.. Tickets on sale now. Sheena- CPAC this month M. St agenda item. Next Wed at the community center. Jessica- 4-H clover buds placing flags tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who bought a floral subscription for the FFA. Tummy’s will be closed on Thanksgiving. LeeAnn asked to donate the raffle proceeds from the Mayor’s Dinner to Sisters in Christ Troy motioned Anthony 2nd. Motion passes.
